Mark Metcalf has lived in Milwaukee for eight years. Here, he has worked onstage and off with First Stage Children's Theatre (most recently in Gossamer), Milwaukee Shakespeare and Bialystock & Bloom. Beyond Milwaukee, he has appeared on stages from Seattle to Chicago, Cleveland, Boston, New Haven, Princeton, New York and Washington, D.C. You may also know Mark Metcalf from his roles in Animal House, Seinfeld and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. He sits on the Advisory Board and the Programming Committee of First Stage Children's Theatre and Academy and is active in raising funds for the Milwaukee Youth Arts Center, a national model for collaboration between youth arts organizations in providing space and training for young people in the performing arts. He is also an active supporter of Milwaukee Film, where he is Project Manager for Collaborative Cinema: Student & Filmmaker, a program that teaches high school students to write for the screen and then produces a short film from the best screenplay produced by a Milwaukee student.
