Spring Gallery Night in Images
Is it possible to hit a dozen locations in few hours on Gallery Night? Yes, if you park in the Third Ward and stay within the neighborhood. While this is a good time, it’s too safe. Some of the best and most daring art this past Friday was far flung.
Also seen this Friday night: Troy Freund’s Story School photography project, Dan Naumann displaying ironworks at Villa Terrace, Forward at Charles Allis, the mega CoPA exhibit in the P.H. Dye building, Streetza Pizza “Artonatruck2” outside Lela, the scene on Chicago Ave., Soup’s On and Motionary Comics at Moct. Click here for groovy slideshow version.
