Scenes from Feed Your Soul at Flux Design
It was a grand night last Friday for the 2nd Annual Feed Your Soul event at the Flux Design, Ltd. building in Milwaukee’s Riverwest. It was there that Feeding America-Eastern Wisconsin (formerly known as America’s Second Harvest of Wisconsin) organized an RSVP party that showcased custom-made artisan bowls and other visual artwork as part of a silent auction to raise money for the upcoming winter months.
It was quite the scene as people moved between three main rooms and some artsy, cavernous hallways. In one room, a giant photomosaic screen slowly revealed the photographed faces of guests. Music was deftly spun by DJ D-On in the back warehouse (a dramatically lit makeshift nightclub and art gallery space), and the night was highlighted with two performances by Ko-Thi Dance Company.
The event was well-attended and well-sponsored, with the biggest boost coming from the Richard J. Fasenmyer Foundation.

Some of these bowls are amazing and the studio looks really cool. I’m going to the next event Flux holds!
